Summary
There are still only a few GEO tools in Switzerland. We compared the seven best known. They differ widely in method, team and purpose: some measure eight AI systems every day, others check a website once.
If you want to become visible in ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI answers in Switzerland, you can choose between three kinds of providers: GEO tools (also called LLMO or AEO tools), agencies with a GEO offering, and platforms such as AI company directories.
This page covers the GEO tools. All information comes from the providers' public websites as of 3 November 2026. Aurora is itself one of the providers compared.
Three kinds of providers: tools, agencies and platforms
- GEO tools: Software that regularly measures whether and how AI systems mention your brand. You or your agency work with the data.
- Agencies: They analyse and improve visibility in AI answers, often with a tool in the background. They get a page of their own.
- Other platforms: Directories, indices and studies. They aim to make Swiss companies findable for AI systems, or measure visibility once. More on this in the section below.
What matters in a GEO tool: 4 criteria
- AI systems: Which systems are included in the price, and how often is measurement done? AI answers change from day to day, even for the same question. A single measurement can therefore turn out good or bad by chance. Only regular measurement gives a reliable picture.
- Languages: This means the language of the tool itself. Prompts can be asked in any language in every tool. What matters is whether your team (and, for agencies, their clients) can work with the interface and the reports. This is especially important in multilingual teams.
- Price: What counts is your actual need: the number of prompts, AI systems, users and projects. A few well-chosen prompts are often enough to get started.
- Company and track record: Who is behind the tool, since when, and with what background? Many offerings have existed for only a few months. The company and team say a lot about how reliable the measurement is.

The tools in detail
Aurora Intelligence (Zurich)
Aurora measures every day how eight AI systems talk about a brand and its competitors: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Yandex. Measurement is possible in many countries and languages. The tool itself is available in German, English and French, and the data is stored in Switzerland.
Aurora is built on research into measuring AI visibility. Aurora Intelligence AG was founded in 2025 and is an official spin-off of the University of St. Gallen (HSG). It is based on the paper "Don't Measure Once" (arXiv), which shows why AI visibility has to be measured repeatedly and across many questions. CEO Julius Schulte is an external doctoral researcher at HSG and was previously a data scientist at the World Economic Forum. Our studies on AI visibility in Switzerland use the same method.
Light starts at CHF 19 per month (15 prompts), Pro at CHF 199 (200 prompts), Expert at CHF 499 (500 prompts); Enterprise is available on request. Every plan includes all eight AI systems, and you can try it free for 14 days. Details on the pricing page.
Choose Aurora if you want to measure daily across many AI systems and several countries, and want your data to stay in Switzerland.
RankScan (Lucerne)
RankScan combines AI visibility with classic search engine optimisation. Mentions in AI answers, Google rankings and a website audit are in the same tool. It is run by Klarplan AG, a web and online marketing company from Lucerne founded in 2019.
Depending on the plan, RankScan queries 2 to 4 AI systems from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot. Starter costs $49 per month ($39 billed annually) and includes 10 AI prompts. Pro costs $189, Enterprise $599.
Choose RankScan if you want to see SEO and GEO for one or a few websites in the same tool and a few prompts are enough.
Repliq (Geneva)
Repliq measures daily what ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok say about a company and checks whether the information is correct. Its focus is French-speaking Switzerland (Romandie), on which Repliq regularly publishes analyses.
Plans start at CHF 150 per month for 30 prompts. That is on the expensive side in this comparison, and additional AI systems cost extra. A guided audit from CHF 2'000 adds consulting to the tool. It is operated by qlip Sàrl in Les Acacias (Geneva).
Choose Repliq if your market is mainly French-speaking Switzerland and the accuracy of the information is your priority.
anewera (Schlatt TG and Zurich)
anewera measures daily in ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Claude, from a location in Switzerland and with a stated margin of error.
There are two versions. Analytics starts at CHF 290 per month for 50 questions and suits teams that implement changes themselves. With Managed, from CHF 980, anewera handles implementation. It is operated by Loaded AG, in the commercial register since August 2026.
Choose anewera if you want to buy measurement and implementation from the same provider.
GEOKarma (Basel)
GEOKarma is an audit tool from the Basel agency onlineKarma, active in online marketing since 2009. It checks how well a website is prepared for AI systems. The homepage check is free; the full audit across 15 dimensions costs CHF 190 once.
A test with 10 questions in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews is included in the Business package (CHF 690) or available as an add-on for CHF 25. Ongoing monitoring costs CHF 69 per month. All prices include VAT.
Choose GEOKarma if you first want to know whether your website is technically and editorially ready.
Outcited (Aesch BL)
Outcited is aimed at founders of software companies (SaaS). The tool queries ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini weekly, finds gaps and writes articles to fill them that can be published automatically. That is fast, but you give up part of the control over your content.
From $49 per month for 10 questions, interface in English only. Outcited is run by a sole proprietorship in Aesch BL.
Choose Outcited if you have an English-language software product and want content created automatically.
Quaryan (Rhäzüns GR)
Quaryan is a low-cost marketing hub for SEO, reviews, ads and AI answers. AI visibility is one of several modules: for EUR 12 per month, it checks once a month how AI systems see your own website.
Custom prompts are not supported. It is operated by Twin Pines GmbH in Rhäzüns.
Choose Quaryan if you are starting on a small budget and see AI visibility as part of a broader marketing package.
International tools used in Switzerland
Many Swiss companies and agencies work with tools from abroad. We compare those in detail in GEO tools compared.
Aside: directories, indices and studies
Besides tools and agencies, other offerings around AI visibility appeared in 2026. They do not measure continuously, but they are part of the picture.
- ranQ by cohaga: The St. Gallen company cohaga launched an AI company directory with more than 600'000 Swiss companies in 2026. It aims to become a source that AI systems cite. A GEO score with monitoring costs CHF 950 to 6'710 per year. According to Netzwoche, it is unclear how the score is calculated and how often it is measured.
- AI check by HELP.CH: On HELP.CH, more than 850'000 company profiles can be analysed in ChatGPT with one click. As HELP.CH itself states, this is a prepared question to ChatGPT, not a measurement.
- Studies: Many providers draw attention with their own studies, for example on 150 Swiss brands, 98 SMEs, 276 local businesses, universities or hotels. Depending on the study, 41% to 63% of companies are considered invisible. The figures are usually based on a single measurement with few AI systems.
In our own measurement, the choice of questions explains most of the differences in a brand's visibility. A single measurement with few questions can therefore give a very different picture from repeated measurement across many questions and systems.
What does this mean for Swiss companies?
- Measure regularly. Daily measurement across several systems shows trends; a one-off check shows only the moment. Both have their place, but tracking results requires ongoing measurement. Focus on the AI systems your customers use. In Switzerland that is mostly ChatGPT, as our overview of AI systems shows.
- Mind the language. If you work in several language regions, you need a tool your team can use in German and French. Few Swiss providers offer that.
- Check the method and the provider. Many Swiss offerings are less than two years old. Check whether the method is disclosed, where the company is based and where the data is stored.
Agencies as an additional option
Many Swiss agencies now offer GEO, from large digital agencies to specialised consultancies. Most do not name a tool; others work with foreign tools or measure themselves. Which agencies exist and how they differ will be covered soon on a page of its own: GEO agencies in Switzerland compared.
